Participation in latest approved migraine treatment

Can someone help me find a study that has latest approved treatment for migraine? I suffer from regular migraine headaches and have tried all the pain medications and ergot treatment but still get these headaches on a weekly basis.

Er Hi JA, I can understand the concern related to recurring migraine headaches. You can find latest trials on this site with approved treatments, if you search for phase 4 studies. This means that these are all approved treatments.

Ja Hi ER Thanks for your response. I have found a study: Its code is NCT04252742 | Recruiting | Migraine, and title: Comprehensive Assessment of Erenumab Efficacy in Subjects With High Frequency Episodic Migraine With at Least 1 Previously Failed Preventive Treatment: a Global, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Phase 4 Study - what does double blind and placebo controlled means?

Er The term double blind suggests that both the patient and the doctor and research staff (investigator) do not know which study participant is receiving the experimental medication or the comparator medication. Placebo is a type of comparator medication that has no active medication in it. It is used in studies to assess true effect of the experimental medicine
